The performance is one of the iconic duo's last shows of 2024, a year that saw them release their long-awaited comeback album, "Hyperdrama."
Justice are inviting fans worldwide today to celebrate their homecoming.
The legendary electronic duo headed back to their hometown of Paris today to headline the storied Accor Arena for a sold-out performance inspired by Hyperdrama, their first album in nearly a decade. It's one of Justice's final Hyperdrama shows of the year following sets at Coachella and Glastonbury, among many other high-profile events and venues.
Justice livestreamed the concert, in which they also launched their first-ever AR music experience, according to a media alert shared with EDM.com. Developed in collaboration with Forward and W-RLDS using Google's Geospatial Creator, the project offers fans two experiences in augmented reality on Google Maps.
The "Accor Arena Experience" pays tribute to the venue and lets viewers explore larger-than-life blimps, immersive lighting effects and exclusive audio content. The "Paris Music Heritage Tour" is an AR-guided romp through various French landmarks that helped shape Justice's rise to preeminence, including La Cigale, Motorbass Studio and Ed Banger Records.
“Collaborating on this innovative AR experience has allowed us to push the boundaries of digital storytelling, creating a unique fusion of music and technology that enhances cultural engagement," said Kevin McMahon, Forward's Chief Business Officer.
The Accor Arena show is one of Justice's final Hyperdrama shows of the year following performances at Coachella and Glastonbury, among many other major events and venues.
