Black Coffee to Make History With DJ Set at London's Old Royal Naval College

The South African house music icon will launch the new "Labyrinth on the Thames" series with a one-night-only performance in London.

Black Coffee is set to become the first DJ to headline London's historic Old Royal Naval College, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The South African superstar will take over the iconic site on Friday, August 1st as part of a new open-air series, "Labyrinth on the Thames."

Labyrinth stands as one of the UK’s most ambitious live music curators. The upcoming show marks Black Coffee’s only London performance of the summer, one that will be further enhanced by the visionary live production efforts of High Scream, the creative force behind the DJ's popular residency at Hï Ibiza.

"As someone of South African heritage myself, it brings me great joy to announce Black Coffee as the first show at this breathtaking location," Nick Castleman, Founder of Labyrinth, said in a press release shared with EDM.com. "Black Coffee's story and achievements are forever inspiring, and we couldn’t dream up a more fitting act to launch the venue with."

Running across two weekends in August, "Labyrinth on the Thames" promises an eclectic mix of headliners. Beyond the music, the series will seek to integrate local partnerships, offer priority tickets to nearby residents and create opportunities for youth and emerging talent to participate in the festivities.

Pre-sale tickets for Black Coffee’s performance on August 1st are set to go live on January 30th at 10am GMT.
