Renowned country singer Bailey Zimmerman has apologized to his fans after he performed at the Crash My Playa event under the influence of alcohol. The artist took to the stage at the said music festival in Cancún, Mexico, in swim trunks without wearing a shirt. Zimmerman sang eight songs at the event, videos of which have since gone viral on the internet.

Bailey Zimmerman issues apology over his drunk performance
The snippets of the 24-year-old musician’s recent act captured him experiencing difficulties in reciting the lyrics of his own songs.
Aside from his slurred singing, videos circulating online also show Bailey Zimmerman jumping off the stage at one point, much to the surprise of the live audience. After facing much criticism for his antics at the Crash My Playa event, he has now come out to publicly apologize to his admirers through social media.
In the Instagram video shared by Zimmerman, he acknowledged his inebriated condition and even accepted that his singing was “absolutely awful.” He also took responsibility for his unprofessional behavior, stating, “I feel like you guys deserve an explanation from me, because you’ve had my back through the highs and lows and through every mistake. So what happened was, I decided to drink that day, which was a mistake, and I got up on stage, and I was too drunk to play.”
Bailey Zimmerman apologized further by admitting his embarrassment over the Crash My Playa fiasco and vowed never to repeat such an incident. “I’m embarrassed as well, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure that this never happens ever again. I want to show you guys the person that I truly am,” he added in his video.
The “Religiously” singer concluded his apology video on a positive note and also expressed gratitude towards everyone who has shown support to him in such contentious times.
